Welcome to the Hillhead Cricket Club Junior section.

Our aim is to provide cricket for boys and girls of all abilities in a fun and safe environment.

For the 2020 season we are looking to run the following
All Stars program for 5 - 8 year olds 
Dynamos for 8-11 year olds 
Kwik Cricket 
U12 Soft ball
U12 Hard ball
U14 Hardball
We also accommodate players of other ages in partnership with other local clubs.
 
Match nights during the summer months are typically Monday and Fridays.  KwiK Cricket tournaments for Under 10s are held on Sunday mornings.  

Summer coaching sessions for junior players are held on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.00pm at Hughenden. Outdoor sessions will be under the supervision of the Junior Convener with other qualified assistant coaches.

Juniors at Hillhead will also be offered the opportunity to play senior cricket if appropriate.  Typically this will be for the Club's midweek eleven and/or the Sunday Eleven both of which are designed to be development elevens.

Junior cricket at Hillhead is available to all members of Hillhead Sports Club which also offers other sports such as tennis and rugby. For full details of Sports Club Membership please see the membership page. In addition there is a £20 annual section fee (reduced to £10 for subsequent children).
