THE TRANSITION FROM WINTER TO SUMMER 2024-2025
Management of the transition from winter to summer sports on grass surfaces is no easy matter for a Club’s ground staff… However at Hughenden thanks to Andy and Graeme matters are moving on well.
The two images with this narrative confirm the immediate effects of scarifying and seeding damaged strips due to winter rugby footfall. The first cut to trim back the youngish grass reveals a surface capable of soon taking a competitive match.
