INVESTMENT IN JUNIOR CRICKET AT HILLHEAD CC ( Hughenden )

Pictured in the image is Hillhead Cricket Club’s (HCC) latest investment in Junior Cricket at Hughenden: a mobile net with matting which can be used anywhere on the outfield on practice nights.

Barri Gilani, HCC’s junior Convener, explained: “We’ve a lot of cricket scheduled on the square this season and not very much spare capacity on Club training nights to allow our Juniors into the permanent nets. The committee decided then to invest in a smallish mobile net which we can use anytime and anywhere on the outfield to develop our group of very enthusiastic young cricketers.”

A fantastic investment which will help nurture and develop our next generation of cricketers. A grand decision and well done to everyone who made this possible, and also a special thank you goes out to some very generous people who made donations towards this.
